This extraordinary chandelier is composed of:
- 6 plates, 6 tulips and 1 central basin in pressed molded glass with a stylized floral decoration repeated on all the glassware
- Nickel-plated bronze frame with 6 suspension arms and 6 support arms also taking up a decoration that is both geometric and stylized floral
- Pavilion in nickel-plated bronze presenting a superb stylized floral work
- Hexagonal shape for the heart of the frame and its basin
- 12 points of light (! )
Fully re-wired and re-nickeled recently
All the plates glass shades are signed "J. Robert FRANCE 1048"
All the tulips glass shades are signed "J.Robert"
The central basin is signed "EJG 1048 FRANCE"
The signature "EJG" means: Establishments Jean Gauthier (located Rue Jean Robert 12/14 in Paris, in the 1930s)
The J.Robert signature corresponds to the name of the street in which the Jean Gauthier Establishments were located in Paris (it also opened a factory in Ezanville with glassware bearing the "Ezan" signature)
