Set (Pair with different heights) of Modernist Art Deco Lamps / Clichy Glassware

Date: 1935

White speckled Clichy glass with chrome trim.

Chrome-plated aluminum bases with circular, “stepped” bases.

A particularly elegant design due to the balance of its proportions and the contrast between the shine of the chrome-plated metal and the texture of the glass.

Both lamps have been fully rewired (gray twisted fabric cord and pull switch).

This is a “mismatched” pair; while the two lamps are identical in design, they differ slightly in height: the larger one measures 36 cm and its smaller counterpart 32 cm.
