"Small Salon Table, Neoclassical Early Louis XVI 18th Century Circa 1770-1775."
Small living room table from Dauphiné inlaid with beech, sycamore and ash, all treated natural or stained on a cherry wood frame; of a rose in a rectangular geometric cartouches embellished with nets on its tray. This one is traversed by a peripheral rod except on its face allowing writing. This small rectangular table opens with a side drawer adorned with a pull lens on its right side, sliding over its entire width. The whole rests on a very fine sheath base with a square section with four tapering sides, each punctuated with a bronze shoe. It should be noted two old usual restorations, one at the inside corner of the top, the second on one end of the peripheral strip. Neoclassical Grenoble work from the years 1770-1775. Dimensions: height 70cm – width 51cm – depth 34cm.
