Charming little rectangular box in Saint Lucia wood carved with finesse with a decoration mixing scrolls, flowers, and plant motifs. It is certainly a wedding box as evidenced by the two birds on the lid. The richness and quality of execution of the sculpture allow us to attribute this very pretty box to the sculptor César Bagard (1620-1709)
