Antique Gold Topaz And Peridots Butterflies Necklace

Called an old drapery necklace, it is made up of motifs in the shape of openwork butterflies with filigrees and separated from each other by gold clasps and smaller motifs also representing a butterfly.
2 pear-cut topazes and 4 peridots also pear-cut adorn this decoration. The chain continues with small trefoil motifs spaced out with a convict mesh chain. The clasp is a spring ring.

Main material: yellow gold, 750 thousandths, 18 carats, eagle's head hallmark.
Weight of the peridots: approximately 2.75 carats.
Topaz weight: approximately 1.55 carats.

Antique jewel - French work from the beginning of the 20th century. Topazes and peridots have been carefully added by our workshop.
Our opinion: this old butterfly necklace was already charming initially, but the addition of fine stones gives it even more elegance and originality.
