Beautiful Rio Rosewood Drop Leaf Table. This Furniture of Exceptional Quality has an Oblong top with two Folding flaps decorated with Mother-of-Pearl inlays. Wrapped, golden Arabesques and iridescent Flowers decorate the Tray and the Belt of this harmonious Table. Cut-out Brass Nets follow the Shapes of the Furniture and highlight the precious Wood that composes it. On the front, the Rosewood treated with inlays is decorated with patterns and a brass thread around the perimeter. Two drawers with their original locks in perfect working order with their key, are composed of an interior and sides in solid mahogany. On the back, two false drawers reproduce the front motifs. The set rests on Four Twisted Feet in Solid Rosewood, the upper part of which has a square section and is inlaid with Brass fillets on both sides. Magnificent work from the Parisian workshops of the 19th century.
