Pair of sumptuous cassolettes in gilded bronze and marbre Tripod base with ram's heads and floral frieze of great finesse to match works by Pierre Gouthiere Together in excellent condition, a small restoration has taken place on one of the Pierre Gouthière lids (1732- 18131) was an 18th century French engraver-gilder. He is one of the greatest French bronziers, his extreme skill gave birth to great masterpieces of decorative arts from the reign of Louis XVI.
