Important and delicate canivet with Christ on the cross. Period late 18th century early 19th century. Fine work of paper cutting in imitation of lace enhanced in watercolor colors with bouquets of flowers. In the center the painted Christ on the cross, eyes closed, head leaning on his right shoulder, legs crossed. Upper phylactery in which is written: INRI. Phylactery at the bottom of the cross in which is written in ink: Confumatum. Old paper folds and small gaps This beautiful work of faith and patience is framed in an old-style frame without glass.
