"Three Handle Cup, Kuba, Democratic Republic Of The Congo"
Monoxyle palm wine cup formed of a pedestal surmounted by a hollow cylinder serving as a cup. It is decorated with three identical characters forming the handles. It is quite rare to find a cup with three characters. The cylinder is decorated with a series of tracery characteristic of the style.
Hardwood with a shiny brown patina.

Provenance: - Ex-Belgian collection,
                     - Collected in-situ according to Mr. Michel Tordeus, by his grandfather Tordeurs Gilles who was a colonial officer in Kasai
