Rare and charming couple of an Incredible and a Marvelous in bronze with silver patina enhanced with details with golden patina. This couple illustrates a fashion current in vogue at the end of the 18th and beginning of the 19th century in France, in reaction to the revolution. Extravagant outfits, affected behavior, imitated accents, this fashion left some traces in the iconography and the sculpture as shown by this statuette which restores with great detail the habits and dress customs of those who were also called "the muscadins".
