"Necklace, Silver And Amethyst, 19th Century."
This silver necklace has an important central motif, it is held by three short chains, some links of which are set with marcasites, they themselves are connected to a convict chain which is attached behind the neck. The central element consists of two superimposed rosettes set with faceted cut amethysts in the shape of a shuttle for the first, and in the shape of drops for the second, these two elements are centered with a mother-of-pearl motif and hold two small elements also in mother-of-pearl, the whole is embellished with marcasites. The reverse is chiseled with radiating patterns. Period last quarter of the 19th century. Length 43cm. gross weight 23.48 g.
