Rising of the military camp, oil on canvas dimensions 65 cm x 81 cm, with its carved and gilded wooden frame 85 cm x 101 cm, attributed to Jan Peter van Bredael the younger, Flanders early 18th century. Jan Pieter van Bredael the young or Breda is a painter born in Antwerp on July 27, 1683 and died in Vienna in 1735, he is a painter of military subjects and hunting scenes, he is the son of Joris van Bredael. The soldiers in the field are not alone and with them moves a crowd of people who allow them to live and perhaps even to have fun during their long journeys.
