Circa 1880-1900 Ottoman Empire Moving pair of Ottoman mules in red leather embroidered with gold and silver canetille dating from the Belle Epoque. From Pierre Loti Orientalism, the design of the upper includes architectural elements and a Turkish crescent. Slight scratches to the embroidery and leather, a little deformed to the heels. Cream cotton linings. Stable state of use. Dimensions: Equivalent size 36-37. length 27cm. vamp width 14 cm.
