"Six Rare Coffee, Tea Or Jam Spoons Sterling Silver Vermeil Arms Crown Count"
Set of six tea or jam spoons, in silver vermilion. Threaded model, three are stamped by the same goldsmith, two come from Strasbourg, last quarter of the 18th century (Illegible goldsmith / perhaps Joseph Ootet, one by Pierre-François Queillé - Cutlery - L'estampé, rue du Faubourg Montmartre in Paris (1834-1846).All are united by their same coat of arms surmounted by a count's crown, the shield supported by unicorns with a few shades of engraving as well as vermeil.The latter, contemporary and very beautiful, is of excellent quality. The spoons at the end gently pointed, show no shock or wear. Rare set in excellent quality. .Six Spoons in Vermeil Coat of Arms engraved on the reverse of each. Length: 15 cm. / 5.91 in. Solid silver weight - Sterling silver weight: 166 grams
