Ligbi Mask From Ivory Coast, Africa
This mask comes from the Bandana Valley in Ivory Coast and dates from the 1950s. It too has perfectly balanced artistic lines that make us think of the oval faces with the long fine nose of the painter Modigliani from the beginning of the 20th century. It is mounted on a beautifully crafted wooden base. A collector's item to highlight even in a very contemporary interior.
