Saber, Templar Masonic Ceremonial Sword (white Weapons From XIX Collection)

Beautiful Masonic Ceremonial Sword of the Templar Knight. Late 19th century around 1880. The scabbard, the guard and pommel are made of silver metal decorated with enamel. The tempered steel blade is also acid etched and gilded. the whole is composed of attributes and chivalrous scenes finely chiseled. On the scabbard and the guard, the decor has been enhanced by touches of enamel. The blade is gilded in part hollow to highlight the engraving. To finish it off, the poignier in noble material is engraved with a Roman cross and monogram on the other side. It remained in good condition, slight wear of time without gravity on the metal parts and very light "fel" on the handle. To signify the mark in a cartridge on the top of the blade against the hilt (THE LILLEV - CO Columbus - Ohio) American factory.
