Bookcase in rosewood marquetry veneer in satin frames. This piece of furniture dating from the 18th century is stamped by Jacques BIRCKLE. Received Master on July 30, 1764. Parisian work. Reference: French furniture from the 18th Century, Pierre Kjellberg Pages 69 to 75 Library with canted sides, opening on the front with two tall doors that have retained the original bubbled glass. Beautiful ornamentation of chiseled and gilded bronzes with decorations of knots and rosettes in their original gilding. The rod locks are original. Height: 193 cm Width: 123 cm at the body Overall width: 128.5 cm Exterior depth: 36 cm Interior useful depth: 30 cm Good condition, restoration of use and maintenance.
