Louis XVI Period Bookcase Stamped Birckle

Bookcase in rosewood marquetry veneer in satin frames. This piece of furniture dating from the 18th century is stamped by Jacques BIRCKLE. Received Master on July 30, 1764. Parisian work. Beautiful ornamentation of chiseled and gilded bronzes with decorations of knots and rosettes in their original gilding. The rod locks are original.
