Important Tray In Painted Sheet Metal Antique Scene And Views Of The Swiss Jura XIXth Circa 1820.
Important oval-shaped tray in green painted sheet metal. Central scene decor in the antique style (Belisaire refusing the crown of the Bulgarians) surrounded by eight round vignettes decorated with views of the Swiss Jura. Transfer decorations on a green background. Border of the tray decorated with leaves and bunches of grapes and two small openwork parts for the grip of the hands. Elegant and very decorative object that can be presented as a normal tray or a table. Very very beautiful color and in very good state of conservation (to report some small wear of color without gravity). Period XIXth circa 1820 French manufacture. Dimensions: - length: 68 cm. - height: 52 cm.
