Bronze scoop with zoomorphic double spout. Ring handle held by two women's heads. 16th - 17th century 14cm in diameter 26cm long The scoop is a utensil used to contain and pour water. It was filled by immersion in a well or a bucket. We see this utensil on a painting by Robert Campin, the Annunciation made to Mary dated 1427-1432, it is at the Metropolitan in New York (visible in the last photo).
