"Récamier Meridian Chaise Longue Sofa Art Deco Ca 1930, Velvet Fabric To Clean Or Replace"
Meridian style and Art Deco period, this sofa is qualitative and made in the spirit of the model "Polar Bear" by Jean Royère but also some models by René Drouet (see the last 2 images)... a beautiful line well balanced! Also called récamier, sometimes chaise longue or daybed, this living room needs to be restored, replenished, covered or perhaps simply cleaned. The old fabric is in velvet and the padding / upholstery still seems good to us... A rare piece very typical of the Art Deco period. This simplicity and sobriety is perfect for our living rooms and our modernist interiors.
