Pair Of Light Mahogany Armchairs, Return From Egypt Style - 19th Century

Pair of Low Armchairs, in solid Light Mahogany, in the 'Return from Egypt' style. The high, straight backrests, as well as the rounded front seats, are covered with a modern fabric, predominantly Pale Pink and with aged Clous finishes. This textile is mainly composed of Polyester and is stain resistant. The choice of this Sobriety print is consistent with the spirit of these very refined Armchairs, which can therefore be easily harmonized in interiors with various Decorations. Only the armrests, with curved lines, have Sculptures. Thus on the lower extremities, one can appreciate the heads of Dolphins camped on ornate bases. The scales of their bodies are interrupted temporarily, leaving smooth armrests, to resume at the top and end in fish tails. Each Armchair rests on four slightly Saber legs. Note the firmness and general quality of the seats, squared in the old fashioned way and with straps and pads redone by hand.
