IN VERY GOOD USED CONDITION, 2 reinforcements on the back.
Artist born in 1911 in Antwerp. Trained at the Academy of Antwerp in the studio of Josue Dupin, who was close to Rembrandt Bugatti. Van Rijswijck retains the importance of observing animals in the zoo and becomes a recognized animal sculptor, leading him to settle in Paris in the 1930s and participate in the effervescence of Art Deco.
