"18th Century Girl's Secretary"
Lovely young girl's secretary in speckled mahogany veneer and solid mahogany. It is topped with a very beautiful original marble (aleppo breach). It opens with a flap (small restored slot) and two doors, the three frames are decorated with garlands of bronze pearls, it is supported by four fluted uprights ending in very elegant spindle feet with small bronze clogs at the ends. His theater offers us four small drawers and a secret belt above the niche. Inside the lower part of the secretary is a storage space with a lockable niche below, it was used to put more precious objects. The sides are paneled in two parts in solid mahogany, and the frame is in oak. Trace of "VIDAL" stamp. Paris Louis XVI period around 1770/1780.
