"Commode Tomb Louis XV Signed Mondon"
Very beautiful tomb chest of drawers from the early Louis XV period in kingwood veneer, inlaid in the frames. It opens with four drawers in three rows, separated by brass molds. Splendid gilt bronze ornaments with winged dragons and foliage. Veneered marble top. This chest of drawers is stamped by François MONDON 1694 – 1770. Master Cabinetmaker in Paris in 1730. Hallmark of Jurande JME.
