"Bronze Sculpture Pompeii XIXth Century"
19th century grand tour of Italy bronze sculpture - Greco-Roman bronze sculpture of Narcissus, after the original sculpture excavated in 1862 in Pompeii. Antique green patinated bronze figure of a slender nude man, standing and posing, wearing Roman sandals, circa 1870-1880. Very beautiful patina with traces of oxidations, like excavation bronze.
