A. OULINE (active 1918 – 1940)
Man in position of lookout, body in tension, bulging muscles, left arm bent, hand extended at forehead level, right arm slightly bent (holding formerly a spear), parallel to the body, a simple piece of cloth hiding his masculinity. Cast of high quality, very realistic revealing all the anatomical details. The incomplete spear in no way harms the strength of the work, quite the contrary, the latter, in our view, 'breaking' the general harmony of the work.
