Victor Marais-milton - The Cardinal And The Kitten
Victor Marais-Milton, 1872-1948, French painter of genre scenes depicting cardinals, bishops, prelates lovers of art, animals and good food. He studied in the studio of Jonchère with Ernest Meissonnier. He made his debut at the Paris Salon of 1892, of which he became a member. He will also exhibit in Antwerp, London, Monte-Carlo, Germany and the United States. His paintings are meticulously executed and most often evoke the comfortable existence of cardinals. Artist listed in Bénézit with example of signature - Listed Artprice, Artnet, Mayer, Akoun, etc...
