A magnificent vase made using the cloisonné technique. It shows birds perched on the branches of a cherry blossom tree and, on the other side, a flying bird and a butterfly among chrysanthemum flowers. Copper covered with cloisonné enamel. Japan, Meiji era (1868-1912) Height 33 cm, diameter 16 cm. Good state of preservation, slight, inconspicuous crack in the enamel around the yellow butterfly. Free delivery in EU. !
