Mahogany Table Top Marble Directoire Period

Rectangular table in beautiful mahogany and mahogany veneer from the end of the 18th century, Directoire period. It is a very original and little seen model, with a marble top, Saint Anne gray veined with white, embedded in mahogany headbands which accentuates its elegance. A frieze drawer, sheath feet, finished with original casters, a working lock and its key. Its finish, filled with wax, has been revived in our workshop as well as the current repairs, restoration of the marble, the lock, the wheels, the slides of the drawer.
