charming group in terracotta representing 2 loves, in the style of Boucher. One playing the cythera, the other reading. Signed CIAN Fernand (or CIANCIANAINI), sculptor, born in Carrara in 1886 died in 1954. Pupil of Laporte-Blairsy. He exhibited to French artists from 1911 to 1928; honorable mention in 1921. Small lack at the top of the cythera. Shaped giltwood base with apocryphal cartouche marked Boucher. early 20th century.
