Large Carrara marble sculpture (55 cm high) of a Diana bathing seated on a jar with 1 knee on the ground. The movement of the body is perfect and very expressive. She has a forearm placed on the thigh with the hand falling and the other arm is placed on the wrist with an upward movement of the hand. The face of the bather is very soft and looks down. Beautiful carving of the hair which is raised by a bun. Period late XIX I beginning XX I A note the restoration of the little finger of the right hand but invisible.
