"Napoleon Bonaparte Bronze Bust, XIXth Century"

Superb and elegant 19th century bronze representing the Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte. Presented on a cylindrical base in period molded and blackened wood, the Emperor is presented in bust and military attire. The bronze is of great finesse in carving, the details of the insignia and the face are of great sharpness. The patina of the bronze is Empire green, a very slight wear on the nose reveals the brinze below. Work of high quality and in excellent vintage condition.
