This oil on canvas represents the Rognac mill north of Périgueux in the town of Bassillac. it is signed lower right G. Etienne. Bright composition with a beautiful color palette and a technique similar to that of André Prugent. The Rognac mill site has inspired many painters from the Périgueux school such as Georges Pasquet, André Prugent or Roger Dessales Quentin.
