Oil on panel by Paul Bazé (1901 - 1985) Very beautiful close-up composition of the flamenco dancer couple painted with strength and power in a very Art Deco monochrome color palette. Paul Bazé was born in Paris, a former pupil of Lucien Simon at the Beaux-Arts in Paris and a pupil of Paul Quinsac at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux, in 1928 he was awarded the 1st prize in Rome.
