NAPOLEON III PERIOD LOUNGE TABLE CIRCA 1860
THE Fiddle-SHAPED TOP IS IN AMBOINE BULF VENEER  FRAMED IN MAHOGANY SCARFED AND MOLDED IN CORBIN BEAK.
THE VENEER IS LAYED  IN A SHAPE OF BUTTERFLY WINGS  STARTING FROM THE CENTER
. THE TOP  IS ON A SUPPORT  COMPRISING TWO DRAWERS PLACED IN THE CENTER OF THE CURVED CROSS-MEMBER.
THE TABLE RESTS ON FOUR CURVED LEGS, MOLDED WITH FLORAL DECORATIONS SCULPTED AROUND A MEDALLION IN JUMP;
THE SCULPTURES ARE PROJECTED IN BLACK STAINED WOOD.ABOVE THE SOLID PALISSANDER LEGS
THE MAHOGANY DRAWERS ARE CONSTRUCTED WITH DOVETAILS.
THE AMBOINE  COMING FROM ASIA,  IS CONSIDERED ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ORNAMENTAL WOODS AND IS USED IN CABINETRY
FOR THE  MANUFACTURE OF   LUXURE FURNITURE .
