Beautiful reduction of the famous marble masterpiece by J.A. Houdon, exhibited at the Goulbekian Foundation in Lisbon.
The cast bronze is heavy and of good quality (8kg), the mounting junctions of the arms almost invisible The patina shows nice wear consistent with the antique character of the subject and avoids the gleaming of recent reproductions.
