Large Marine Officer's Telescope in varnished brass and mahogany-stained beech veneer. Telescope with three draws complete with its obturator caches. It bears the signature of B. Leja Opticien patented supplier of His Majesty the Emperor 1 Rue de l'Echelle in Paris. Benjamin Leja (1797 - 1870) Presence of some friction and wear on the varnish. This Telescope works perfectly. Second Empire period. Dimensions: Unfolded length: 102 cm – Closed length: 41 cm – Diameter: 6 cm
