18th Century Portrait Of An Aristocrat
Large half-length portrait of an aristocrat with a strong personality. She poses in a sumptuous dress with a wide neckline with a lace collar and cuffs, dotted with embroidered flowers in the same shades of pink to red. Around her neck she wears a bow matching her dress and around the wrist a bracelet with the portrait of her husband in medallion. In her hand, also painted with great skill, she holds a rose matching the embroidered flowers. This portrait is in excellent condition, 2 small patches at the bottom and towards the right edge indicate minimal restorations. 19th century frame in gilded wood, also in very good condition.
