Offering or collection dish in embossed and engraved brass, 16th or 17th century. The central rosette decorated with gadroons is surrounded by inscriptions in German (WART----?) in stylized Gothic letters, difficult to read, which probably places its manufacture in Nuremberg or perhaps other German cities. This dish is in its used condition, it has some wear in places on the engraved or stamped designs and some pewter plugging on the edges, where the brass is wrapped around a stiffening iron circle. Diameter 38cm.
