Very beautiful, very ample and comfortable armchair à la reine from the Louis XV period stamped by Nicolas-Quinibert Foliot. The upholstery has been redone in the old fashioned way and dressed in a very beautiful new silky fabric from the Lelièvre house in the style of the time, the feathered cushion is double-sided.Original painted/lacquered natural wood armchair with a patina of use.
Nicolas-Quinibert Foliot (1706-1776) received master in Paris in 1729 is from a large family of carpenters cabinetmakers suppliers of the royal crown; he practiced rue de Cléry in Paris. Armchair in excellent condition both for the barrel and for the new fabric.
