English Dresser Buffet In Solid Pine, England Circa 1900, Kitchen Buffet

Charming English dresser buffet in solid pine, made around 1900. This beautiful and solid dresser is composed of two parts, the top coming to rest and being held by three rear fixings (screws) The lower part is composed of a central part opening by two leaves and revealing two storage spaces separated by a shelf. This part is surrounded on its right and on its left by a set of drawers of different sizes. These drawers are all covered with a protective film imitating woven straw. The drawer at the top right is equipped with a fitting (red felt, see photo) allowing organized storage of cutlery. The upper part is composed of two fixed shelves allowing to arrange a large volume of crockery (or decorative objects). This authentic cottage piece of furniture is in very good house condition. Of course, given its age and the use that has been made of it, it has traces of wear (see photos of details: fillings, small finger joints etc...) but remains in very good condition and has a magnificent honey-coloured patina. Note, the bottom of the upper part was redone in the middle of the 20th century. Absolutely perfect piece of furniture for a "cottage / English countryside" style decoration.
