Christian Krass (1868 - 1957) "le Ruhlmann lyonnais" Superb "tricorps" enfilade sideboard from the Art Deco period around 1930, opening with 4 doors, in solid walnut carved with large flutes, ebony veneer from Gabon, ivory pearls , nets of light wood, black lacquered wood, carved and silvered wood, opaline glass, interior in varnished blond oak. The entire sideboard rests on two large black lacquered wooden bases connected to the body of the cabinet by fluted and silvered cylindrical elements. His achievements are numerous: consoles, storage units, executive desks, low game tables, sofas or even clocks, as well as the techniques and materials used (Macassar ebony veneer, felt-stained walnut...). In 1924, the Salon d'Automne took place in the city of Lyon. At the time, the event went far beyond the borders of the city and the work of artists from the Lyon avant-garde (painters, engravers, cabinetmakers, sculptors) resounded in the capital.
