"A Japanese Cloisonnè Vase"
A Japanese slender cloisonné vase with polychrome enamels in the shape of an amphora with a pyramidal base worked in silver wire decorated with two main reserves depicting a pair of phoenixes symbol of the empress and two dragons symbol of the emperor. On the sides to join the reserves a fantastic animal closed in a circular reserve.
Unusual and rare dark background with the addition of aventurine that shines to simulate the starry sky, all the polychrome enamels are held with silver thread as well as the base and the upper edge.
