Large Art deco bronze of a young athletic man training two dogs. Green and brown patinas. On black marble base. Signed on the terrace for Louis Riché with a foundry stamp.

Size: H 42 cm x W 60,5 cm x D 15,5 cm

French school of the Art deco period.

Lit : Louis Riché was born in Paris in 1877. Student of Georges Gardet and Perrin. Member of the “Artistes Français” since 1905, he exhibits at the Salon where he will be awarded with an honorable mention in 1897, a third-class medal in 1903, a second-class medal in 1905 and a gold medal in 1924. He also exhibits at the “Salon des Indépendants” (1923). Work in the Valence Museum (bronze “ Cat watching a butterfly”). As a animal sculptor, he mainly represents cats, dogs and wild cats.
