Spanish Renaissance Style High Back Chair, Cordou Leather, Nineteenth

Very important Spanish Renaissance style chair in Cordoba leather, with a high, steeply inclined backrest. Our seat rests on four turned baluster legs, connected to each other by two side struts, one back, and one on the strongly sculpted and eventful front. The feet are terminated by strong pads. The seat and the backrest are covered with a very beautiful stamped leather and held by large brass nails. Our leather is in perfect condition and has a nice patina. The top of the largely rounded backrest is embellished with two brass spinning tops. Very beautiful manufacture of the XIXth century in a pure Iberian style.
