This mail holder, writing desk of English origin opens with two doors A button located in the upper part allows to trigger the opening of the writing desk. The one completely open is covered with an original green leather gilded with iron .The open doors allow you to put sheets In the center of many storage spaces, with three pen trays The day, the date and the month in English appear by turning a button. The pump lock, of which we have the key, is by Joseph Bramah (1748 - 1814) and is signed. It was in 1784 that J.Bramah patented the first cylinder lock which he produced in series in the Bramah locks company, a company he created at his London home (24, Picadilly) Dimensions of the closed writing desk: Length :40 cm Width:65 cm Height:39.5 cm
