Pair of Louis XV style armchairs in waxed and patinated solid walnut. Violin-shaped, the top of the backrest is carved with a central cartridge decoration accompanied by flowers. These seats are based on four arched legs, the two front legs are decorated in the upper part with a fan pattern. The front cross member is decorated with a shell. The upholstery, as well as the covering fabric were recently redone by an upholsterer and are therefore in good condition. The seat is wide and very comfortable. The old pink velvet cover fabric is very slightly faded and gives a lot of charm and authenticity to these two seats.
