"Suite Of Six Louis XVI Style Chairs (2 Models)"
Series of six Louis XVI style chairs with flat backs in white lacquered wood. of two different models, molded carved wood forming a frame for the backrest and the seat rails. The connecting dice are carved with a rosette. The seat rests on four tapered, fluted and rudentate square-section legs. Three chairs are upholstered in bright pink and cream striped fabrics and highlighted with pale pink cotton braid. one of the chairs has a stain on the seat the other three are caned, the cane is in good condition and they are lined with gallettes one of the chairs has a small lack on the back of its backrest (photo) French work done in the 1950s.
