CRUISER, BATTLE OF LIGURIA Original drawing by Admiral Maurice DE BROSSARD (1909-1996) Maurice Raymond de Brossard du Bourg is admiral of the French Navy and historian. He was one of the fathers of French naval aviation by taking the Navy from its stage of ballooning to that of holder of aircraft carriers thanks to ingenious ideas and an unrelenting hard work. Historian, he undertook research and found the route and the shipwreck sites of Monsieur de la Pérouse.
