Etching "Revue du Quintidi" by Napoléon Bonaparte 1st Consul of the French Republic. Review of the troops on the 5th day of the week at the Tuileries Palace. Dated 29 Thermidor year X (August 17, 1802). Full margins, mounted in a period frame, stained mahogany decorated with gilded brass rosettes (one redone) at the 4 corners and rosettes edged with laurel wreaths at the 4 circles. very good condition, some stains. Renovated assembly, the old back bore 2 labels which have been preserved, a label from the framer and another bearing probably a collection number Dimension with frame: 50.5cms x 36.7cms
